So just had our annual festive get together, and finished on such a dissappointing end, we looked forward to going back to The Tree in Leicester City Centre for our 2 4 £10 cocktails. Was incorrectly charged (according to the specials board) and then rudely dealt with when went to complain. Customer service 0. Would have gone back in the new year, but now lost business. We work in travel tourism/hospitality, and would never dared to speak to customers as they did.
Arranged a team Christmas meal at The Tree and throughly pleased with the vegan optima on the festive and main menus. The butternut squash wellington was amazing and great accompaniments too. Really filling and well seasoned. Clearly a good chef at work here who understands how to make vegan food tasty. Thoroughly recommend The Tree for vegan and vegetarian food if you’re in Leicester.
What a shame. I used tonwork here many moons ago and how it's gone downhill. Saturday afternoon, it was so quiet but had run out of half the menu. Then when we had ordered they had another component they didn't have,then the food came out without the slaw or salad, so ended up with a burger and chips, which to be honest was not even as good as a five guys.
A great city centre pub with a village pub feel and aesthetic. Feels super cosy in here in the evenings and the atmosphere compliments that. The food could be better tailored to the look and feel of the pub but it still tastes great. Will be back again and again. Réservez une table maintenant
I have been visiting the tree for many months and have no complaints ! Excellent service and drinks that taste great with good prices, pet friendly and a beautiful garden venue. There’s literally nothing I can think of to fault the place.
Has our Christmas meal here last night and it may be the best pub Xmas meal we've had! Can't recommend highly enough. The staff were accommodating, attentive and friendly, the food was great and everything reasonably priced. Top stuff!!
A very busy noisy place on the High Street. Fairly priced drinks. The place is very busy and soon becomes a noisy place, not a place for a quiet drink. No problems with the bar staff, very good service.
The Tree is my favourite place to wind down. Absolutely love it here. 10/10 service, food and drinks! There’s lots of offers, lots of events, and a whole lot of friendly faces Réservez une table maintenant
