This is a spot a lot of my coworkers like to go to when they want to sit down and have lunch. It's a short walk from my office so I figured i'd give it a try. I read the reviews before I came so I already kind of knew what to expect upfront. Walking in, the decor is nice and it's wide open. I wasn't sure if I was in the right place, not going to lie, I wasn't prepared to not see anyone Asian working in the restaurant, it kind of threw me off. But from previous comments, I guessed the restaurant has changed owners a few times over the years. I got there before the lunch rush so I sat in a two person booth next to the wall. The soup was brought out to me and a pitcher of water. The soup wasn't bad. I guess it changes daily. I ordered the Gang Ped (C-4) and asked for mild-plus spice. The food was tasty but it was really spicy for me. More towards the medium-plus side...I was literally sweating, trying to soak the sauce with rice and drinking alot of water. Not the most enjoyable way to eat your lunch but if it would have been mild-plus it would have been pretty good I think. Lunch was only $9.00 which is pretty good for the area. The only reason why i'm giving this two stars is this place got a really low health department score. I have my serve safe certificates so I know this could get bad really fast and it kind of makes me leary on the food handling/cleanliness factor.

Straight up, the absolute worst Thai food (or food) I have EVER had (and that's a lot). Chicken satay way overcooked, flavorless. Like a sad chicken breast you'd eat alongside some canned green beans at a retirement home. Medium pad Thai how can something be entirely flavorless and waaaay to spicy at the same time? Idk, but they figured it out. Chicken was measly, sparse (we paid for extra chicken too, and it was bone dry). Tofu tod at least gave us a laugh. Watery, meager, flavorless, but almost so bad it was funny. Pak pak, medium spice, was so spicy I couldn't even taste it. I love love love spicy food that has complexity and flavor, but this tasted like nothing, but it really hurt our mouths. And lips. And stomachs. 0 pleasure or taste. Idk how you even pull this off. We ordered some other stuff that we didn't even bother to try because our MEDIUM SPICE dishes are currently destroying our GI tracts. We don't splurge a lot on food, and this was so disappointing. We both made frozen Salisbury steaks after trying everything and trying to be optimistic. It was THAT awful.

Pad prik curry was decent. Not too spicy. A little heavy on bamboo but adequate vegetables. Would get again. Drunken noodles 1-2/5. Way too salty without any spice. Would not order again. Overall would trial again a separate curry, consider pad Thai.

Not good at all. I'm not sure what kind of meat that is but it's definitely not chicken. Save your time and money.
