The food was good. The service was a bit off-putting. We aren't loud or difficult. The chicken in the chicken satay was perfect. We would have liked a bit more peanut sauce, and in most places, we would have requested that, but we didn't see the server again until the next dish was dropped off. Most of their business seemed to be take-out, understandably. BYOB. The food did all seem to have been freshly prepared and didn't take too long to arrive.
Oh my goodness... BEST Thai food EVER! Lots of great Thai places back in my hometown on the mainland.... this one beats them all. Amazing curries, addictive Thai tea and coffee. They use fresh, quality ingredients (no mystery meat) and everything just tastes fresh and delicious and perfect every time. Prices are standard for Thai food, not overpriced as most places are in Kona. When we treat ourselves to a dinner out, we always go here!
We discovered this place while looking for something else. It's in a run-down industrial section of town. So we expected something kinda tacky. But it was lovely. Dark room, nice music, not tacky at all. Lots of choices for food. Parking: There are 5 dedicated spots. We got there right before they opened but after other places closed, so we had no problem. Lunch could be iffy.
Terrible service. Staff is impolite and hard to communicate. Waited for horribly long time with only several tables in the restaurant. (The table before me already finished but my food has not arrived : Worstly, they tried to charge me one additional rice fee without giving me the rice. Réservez une table maintenant
To go order (pepper garlic chicken) it’s really bad! Swimming in water, no garlic, no pepper. The chicken was like rubber. It also stated on the site, it was $9.95 but actually charged $14.95. I would pay much more if it was good but wow it was really horrible.
I had ground beef Thai Larb and it was so good! It really hit the spot! Highly recommended. Wheelchair accessibility: It's in a small strip mall with handicap parking space right in front of the store.
Fabulous Thai classics at great prices. Service can be a little slow because it is family operated but well worth the wait!
Super good authentic Thai. Best in Kona from what I heard. Did not disappoint. Definitely try the tom yum soup! Réservez une table maintenant
