just before the pandemic here really hit our favorite Chinese carbahn (new golden chef on claredon park road) closed for good and we knew that we had to find another to fill this empty one. we tried oriental star for the first time over 2 years and I can say with full confidence that it is the best Chinese takeaway in the Oadby/Stoneygate against. we have tried several years because we find it hard to believe that one on our door is also the best, but it is true! we always come to oriental star and nothing is to compare with it! if they are within the delivery area, they have to try it! and even if you don't, you could always collect! it is probably worth the trip! few tipps - I would sugges...

I recently ordered a takeout dinner from this restaurant and was extremely impressed with the quality of the food. The price per person was between £1–10, which I found to be very reasonable. I would rate the food and service both a 5 out of 5. The atmosphere was decent, but nothing particularly special, so I would give it a 3 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Egg Fried Rice, Chicken with Black Pepper Sauce, and House Special Chow Mein dishes.

my first Chinese takeaway for almost two years and my first time here, well I can just say it was fab, delivered to the time requested, piping hot and tasty. I have never experienced such decent parts, devi will make this my place to go in the future.
