We ate here for lunch and dinner during our weekend stay at Villa Paulita. The restaurant has idyllic views of the medieval lake and lots of glass to keep it light and airy. Seating is plentiful but not too crammed, and the seats comfortable enough. There's a good variety on the menu and a very good selection of wines. Service was efficient and very professional, and the kitchen kept the staff busy churning out some delightful dishes, very nicely presented. The only gripe was the chef was a little too liberal with salt. I don't take a lot of salt in my diet, but even my wife found it a little excessive. Given this hotel has a 5 star rating and room rates to match, perhaps that puts off people considering eating here, but to the contrary we found the prices very reasonable and not notably more than eating in the better restaurants of the town center. I'd recommend this place.
Buena comida, buen servicio aunque nos pareció algo pasado de precio, la señora que nos servia nos explicaba con todo lujo de detalles cada plato que nos servia, se agradece?, supongo, pero igual no hacia falta, tampoco es que prestasemos demasiada atención enfrascados como estábamos charlando entre amigos, todo supongo para darle una patina de “haute cuisine” a la comida, te ofrecen un menú teórico de 35€ al que supongo te podrías ceñir pero muchos platos llevaban suplemento, resultado, el precio por persona sobrepaso los 62€ con una sola botella de vino y tampoco de las mas caras, ademas el local al entrar huele mucho a cocina, mucho a ajo, quizás deberían revisar como ventilar mejor los fogones, en resumen, es un buen restaurante, pero yo diría que se les va la mano con los precios
The place is lovely, good view of the lake. But the service is terrible there was one waitress dealing with about ten tables, so we waited half an hour before making our order, and then more time until the food came. And such terrible food!! The steak was raw and cold, quite inedible. The fish was half cooked and smelt bad. So we got up and said we could not suffer any more. And then they said they will charge us for the first course!
the lunch was really good, good oil, good starters Ann good meat and the dessert was excellent. in my opinion it is only they have only a short list of starters and the seconds and a very short list of wines. We chose a wine called La Fou and was served rather hot. but even though, in general, was very good.
