my first visit to this restaurant gave him top brands, but recent visits have disappointed me. my penultimate meal of king prawn tikka masala contained of muddy soft garnel that I did not eat. I didn't mention it. but told a worker when I ordered a meal for the collection next. When I collected that eating, I mentioned again the garnel at the obvious chef and he looked at me with confusion and it was obvious that he was not aware of the problem. I had mentioned to the author to make sure that my garnels were fresh this time and that some extra garnels would be appreciated. he told me our garnels are always fresh, so obviously I am a lügner in his mind. my disappointment turned out to be twic...
Like others I went here on the basis of the high rating from tripadvisor but really wasn’t impressed. Plus they only want to take cash and don’t like taking cards give me real doubts about the place. Quality of food was nothing special in...fact some things like the naan were poor. There’s plenty of other restaurants more deserving of the higher reviews than this and there’s a better Indian on the corner nearby which I have also reviewed.
I visited this pub for the first time today and really enjoyed it. It feels like a traditional pub, in keeping with the age of the building and is much more spacious inside than you might think. The staff were lovely very friendly, polite...and helpful. The food was really delicious we had the fish and chips and portion sizes were very good! Even the coffee was great! Definitely recommended!

This is not our nearest Indian restaurant, but we drove to it for take-away because of the good reviews on here. The food was OK, but much too hot: lacking in any subtlety. I had the biryani, which is usually a relatively mild dish, but...I couldn't taste much except for chilli. My partner had one of the chicken specials, and had the same reaction.
drive a fair way for this restaurant on strength of reviews. eating was good, but unfortunately unlikely to go back as they refused to make my son's favorite dish of huhka bhuna. considering how standard this is and yes they have chickenertikka and bhuna on the menu it did not seem too challenging a question
many thanks for an amazing representation of traditional cuisine. all dishes so full of taste. cannot say a bad word about this restaurant. service amazing. the chef came to the table to make sure everything was in order. not your usual Indian. Go on what you do. best Indian in the south-east.
We love our curry and have been fortunate to have eaten in some of the best but this is without doubt some of the best Indian food we have had, even better than Indian essence and masala dabas , outstanding
