Yet another superb meal at Oscar’s Wine Bar. Richard, Debra and the staff are always welcoming and accommodating and will do whatever they can to ensure that your visit and your meal are outstanding. The atmosphere is relaxing, the food is excellent both in quality...and in value, and the servings are always more than generous. All tastes are catered for and whether you just want a drink in the softly lit courtyard area, a drink inside with friends, or a meal in the company of others you will not be disappointed. Went for the first time for a friends there were of us . I’m a vegan and special effort was made to bring me three courses carefully prepared to be tasty and plentiful. The rest of the table had a great selection of...shellfish, lemon sole garlic bread starters and huge beef Wellington for their main . Two pescatarians also enjoyed tailored mains. My vegan cheesecake pudding was really delicious. I believe that with fair warning the chef and owner will adapt to suit pretty much any reasonable request. I had great fun and great food. Massive and I mean massive portions. Scallops starters included main course Ham egg chips provided slabs like gammon. Quite a lot of wastage I would think. Decent nosh though.

Booked with friends for a catch up before Christmas. Excellent service and delicious food. Would definitely recommend.

Steak and kidney pies excellent , followed by fruit crumble again excellent , good sevice ,midweek lunchtime
