Oshima Japanese Cuisine

What an experience! From booking to dinner in Ohshima. Reservations: Call the restaurant from 5-5:30 to book a dinner reservation. After 62 calls I could talk to someone in the restaurant and secure a reservation of 5:30. There is a ten-minute grace period when you run late. Arrive: I arrived at 5:30 and there was a line wrapped in the chicken store in Plaza. The hostess will check in if you had a reservation. If you are waiting for dinner without reservation, you can expect a waiting period between 1-1.5 hours. Dinner: We chose the cooks omakase (10 pieces) and ordered some extras at the end. Make reservations! you can call at most one week in advanced and only between 5-5:30pm to make reservations. There's almost always a long ~20-30) people line when they open at 5:30pm for dinner time. Do not arrive late to your reservation as they'll only hold your reservation for 10 minutes. The food and sashimi was PHENOMENAL. This was one of our more expensive meal but totally worth it. I wish we had time to try everything but good thing we got the 13 piece omakase $85/person). One of my favorites we ordered was the yellowtail jalapeño carpaccio, which is a plate of thinly sliced raw fish

Where do I start? This is definitely a hidden gem. Didn't even know this was around the corner of my house. The atmosphere is soothing dimming lighting and the ambience is great. The quality of fresh fish is so well prepared to delight your taste buds. That brings me back when I lived in Japan. So many memories of good quality food cooked to the Zenzai and the chocolate bar is so delightful. Customer service is so good everyone here is so attentive and welcome other people who sat next to us very recommended this amazing place. If you want a high quality food and sushi, come here

OMG! My #1 best authentic sushi place ever after eating in this place, I did not find another sushi place that could replace it. Waiting is always worth it! I recommend special occasions and dinners with friends or family. The surroundings are beautiful and cozy. Some fish are from Japan and market price sushi are delicious
