We used to frequent this restaurant when they were still located in Tustin. We ordered the Sticky rice, Oyster pancake, and Pork Marinated in red yeast.Sticky rice just ok, temp was a bit on the cold side, nothing amazingOyster pancake at least one oyster was funky... which was a no noPork marinated in red yeast portion size was a little sad and pork itself had an aftertaste, like the rice wine maybe wasn't cooked off all the way through?This place is also expensive now in comparison to other Taiwanese restaurants because of the smaller portion sizes. We spent $30+ for the 3 dishes and it wasn't quite filling enough.
Worst experience ever!!! After driving for hours I entered the restaurant. It was empty. There was no one to greet me. I proceeded to the restroom down the hall, when I heard a man yell at my back Restrooms are for CUSTOMERS!!!! . I responded I ama customer but was so mad at his presumption that I was anything else I walked out, never to return. I went to the restaurantnext door. Used their restroom without any harassment, had a very nice meal and left a very generous tip. I do not recommendthis abusive restaurant.
Is a small taiwanese cuisine place with great food. The service is great and makes you feel comfortable since the moment you cross the door. The food is great, the size are bigger than I expected to have. The popcorn chicken has a great flavor and goeswell with the spices they use. They have a wonderful hot&sour soup. The pork pumpkin rice noodle also have a good flavor. Iryou like spicy food try their hot sauce, it pairs perfectly with the popcorn chicken.
Amazing Taiwanese food! This family-run restaurant has been around for years, though they've moved locations a few times—starting in Tustin, then Irvine, and now in Lake Forest. Despite the moves, the food and service remain consistently excellent. They occasionally offer zongzi, likely for special holidays. Some of my favorites are the pork chop rice, sticky rice, and lu wei. Definitely a hidden gem!

Run by the same family from Nice Time Deli, O'shine Taiwanese Kitchen delivers authentic Taiwanese home-style flavors perfectly. The pork chop rice was our favorite dish, and we were heartbroken when Nice Time Deli closed. Since no one else could match their taste, we’re thrilled they’ve opened this new spot! Thank you!
I used to really enjoy this restaurant, but I feel like their fried food has declined in quality. Tonight, I ordered the red yeast pork, fried pork chop, and popcorn chicken, and unfortunately, the breading and seasoning just weren't right.
Best Taiwanese meat ball! Order it every time and the taste has been consistently good. Great oyster pancake and pickled mustard green soup. I recommend the Taiwanese sausage as well. Very good.
