Oso Negro - Réservation de table

I had missed breakfast and was wandering the streets of Nelson when I noticed a large yellow heritage type house. It looked busy, and as I entered I noted the open concept and homey feel. I allowed another guest ahead of me as I was unsure what to order. She was grateful and gave me some tips.I went with the Breakfast Bun (served only till 11:30) with add on back bacon, and a chocolate almond cookie with a juice. The cookie was amazing with just the right combination of both chocolate and almond. Texture was crunchy soft; delicious. The Breakfast Bun order was up in short order, and was dripping with sauce, and splendidly satisfying.I would return given the opportunity.

My daughter and I stopped in here twice , once for our morning coffee and something to soak up the caffeine and then later in the day for lunch. Both times were great . As it was a Saturday it was VERY busy with families and people meeting up for some catch up time. The coffee is delicious, the menu will cater to all different tastes and offers a wide variety of breakfast pastries, great soup, filling sandwiches and rich desserts. It does get crowded !!! so if one is looking for a quiet place, try something else. BUT, despite the fact I truly dislike super busy places, I felt it was definitely worth eating there and will return next time in Nelson.

This is one of my favourite places in Nelson. It's busy but if you get there before 8 a.m. lines up aren't bad at all. The coffee is so delicious and I love the patio area. The views are great and design is very nice. I love also that they sell their coffee beans right in the cafe and of course they will gladly grind them for you if you ask. I enjoyed the art on the walls from local artist and the variety of people, all super friendly and lots of smiling faces. Their breakfast sandwich is awesome too! Total gem and i can't wait to go back!

When in Nelson and you have that craving for a great cup of coffee then Oso is the place. The bean varieties are chosen by the Oso team and roasted in Nelson. The aroma in the air is a tantalizing for taste. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of healthy bake goods and delicious soups and a wicked breakfast bun.Give them a try next time you are in beautiful Nelson. Réservez une table maintenant

I love it! The people in Nelson BC get it. Coffee needs to be dark and delicious. The good people at Oso Negro serve up COFFEE the way it was meant to be. If you want a macchiato or a frappuchino maybe go somewhere else. That way those of us who want actual coffee don't have to wait in line behind you ;)

We did not try the food here, but went for coffee every morning! Excellent blends if you are a coffee lover. It is quite a busy place, so if you need to "run in quick for a cup" there likely will be a line. Indoor and outdoor sitting. Very nice.

A unique coffee bar. Freshly roasted and brewed. Efficient, so don't be concerned with a line up, they diminish quickly. Great metal and wood work and a beautiful garden for leisurely sipping. Great food too.

Great coffee, good treats, quick and efficient service. They have great seating areas outside in a nicely landscaped area. Dog friendly people kind of place. Like what starbucks tries to be! Réservez une table maintenant

We stayed at the Alpine Hotel and we wanted to go somewhere to eat cause there was no breaky at Alpine (great place though)....Oso was great ...good eats!

This is the best place to have coffee in Nelson. Lovely surroundings, good coffee. WiFi. Always busy but its worth the wait.
