I enrolled in the Occupational Therapy graduate program and spent two years paying tuition while commuting an hour each way from Monday to Friday. I completed the coursework successfully, but my experience during the two level 2 fieldwork internships was disappointing. For my first fieldwork, my supervisor had never supervised a student before and engaged in unethical behavior, including discussing patients behind their backs. Ultimately, she decided to fail me, and when I approached the Stockton fieldwork coordinator with my concerns, they dismissed my grievance entirely.
