Typical Ticino hosteria, the environment is not the best as is the smell as soon as you enter, but I imagine that is part of the Swiss charm. The dishes are very simple but well prepared, the rabbit was spectacular, a little less so than the Luganega, the potatoes in that environment you expect grilled or baked and not frozen French fries. Swiss prices no comment for an average Italian are almost crazy, but for the Swiss standard of living I think they are very normal
Whenever I go to Caslano I never miss the chance to go to Osteria Eden, to pay a visit to Maurizio and his team. Enjoy a Spumante on the terrasse away from the lake front crowd. Have a diner table next to the chimney then ask the Chef for a suggestion. His genuine and tasty Ticinese cooking, so heartfully prepared, will make you wonder when is it the next time you’ll come back again?
