We came here for dinner based on the comments on TripAdvisor. The location is in a family residence and you would not expect from the outside what you will be getting inside. We were not disappointed. The owner Claudio and his Chef are Italiens and operate the restaurant with passion. We had an excellent Prosecco Rose Valdo, as appetizers, warm goat cheese with red beets and Balsamico as well as a carpaccio from the wild boar. Both were very good. If you’re visiting Munich, then you wouldn’t really go to Gronsdorf for an Italian restaurant, which is a shame. Although the service is not really warm and welcoming, as you would expect in any Italian restaurant, the food is excellent. Don’t go for pizza though but try the tagliatelle al ragu, or the penne arrabiata, or the piccata lombarda and you know what I mean. The desserts are equally tasteful: nothing fancy but I don’t know any place in Munich where you can have the same quality for a mascarpone mousse with strawberries. Strongly recommended
Excellent food, friendly and good service, interesting wines which may not necessarily be on the wine list. Chef prepared to go the extra mile for his guests.
