By far, this was my favorite restaurant while on this trip. It was a Monday, and my brother Dominic insisted on one more restaurant before I flew back to Tampa Bay, Florida. He wouldn't take no for an answer, and I decided to entertain the idea; I would go along and only have a salad appetizer because I was not hungry from lunch earlier in the day. Upon arriving, the restaurant was almost complete, which was an odd experience. Typically, Mondays are slow when going out for dinner. As we walked in, the smells were out of this world. After meeting Giovanni, the owner, with his Italian accent and the restaurant atmosphere, I felt like I was in a small town in Italy. We had a fantastic appetizer...
Truly 5 star authentic Puglia region food and wine. We did not have a reservation they do take them. We only waited 20 minutes which was amazing for such a small place. Once seated we were immediately served bread and wine order taken. Order the Coppi it was amazing. We order an appetizer of panzanetti very interesting and yummy. Lasagna was to die for amazing spices. Orrichetti had amazing spices with super fresh pasta. Tiramisu and affagato were also exceptional. The only disappointing feature was the limoncello but that does not take away anything from the amazing experience. Thank you for an amazing dinner!
10/10 no notes. Mom had the lasagna and it was just phenomenal. The meat sauce should be eaten with bread or a plain spoon. It came out piping hot. I had the beef rounds with fresh pasta and it tasted so fresh and amazing. The tiramasu was excellent but not what some people might expect. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
