Ostuni opened last year and it has alread obtained an outstanding repuation in the areas of Barnes and Putney. So if you want a table for dinner I would avoid dissapointment by booking in advance (we needed two tries to get a table on a Saturday). And if you are not a local, this one is worth taking a detour for. We had high expectations and they were execeed quality exceptional and the menu priced at a very reasonable level. My parter and I were greeted by the friendly and efficient Michelangelo, who served us with the lovely Dianita. Tricky to know what was worse the appalling service, unbelievably rude waiter or utterly bland food. Waited nearly an hour to be served, despite repeated asks, was barely half full yet told ‘you should have come in earlier’ as were busy. Utterly forgettable food, yet service that will live long in the memory for all the wrong reasons.

Great experience tonight at Ostuni, randomly ended up in Putney and decided to give a chance to this restaurant. The food was amazing, the portions were really big and the price was great. Michelangelo looked after us for the dinner giving us a great treatment. Really recommend
