I wonder what the kitchen guys do when the microwave doesn't work? Dolmades so hot that they burnt my tongue. This us not how to serve Dolmades. Same thing with the Loukaniko, microwaved. When I addressed the waiter about it he straight away said that the Sieftalies weren't microwaved without denying the others weren't. As I'm getting close to finishing my food (I did eat it as I was hungry but after waiting for it to cool enough to eat) I noticed movement out the corner of my eye. It was a mouse. Looking at the disgusting state of the floor on the patio, I'm hardly surprised he was there. Plenty of bits around for him eat. The restaurant wasn't busy nor had it been at lunchtime when I passe...

We came here really looking forward to some genuine Cypriot Greek cuisine. At the very least we expected decent food. Every dish, besides the taramasalata and the veg mousaka was not fresh. It all appeared and tasted like it had been reheated. We hardly ate the dolmades and left some saganaki (who leaves saganaki!?) and no questions were asked. The sausage was not as advertised. The main lamb dish was the worst - not even edible. We let the waitress's know we couldn't eat it and that we wouldn't pay for it. This was done but we weren't offered money off any other part of the bill.Very disappointing for a restaurant in Melbourne in a prime location with expensive prices.

Noisy place with live music, a loud banging outside door which needs repairs. Toilets were tiny and broken taps/sink in female ones- needs repairs. Door handles fell off the office each time staff went in or out- time for some money to be spent and repairs made. Owners not looking after the place. In prime position could be so much better. Service was good and food nice. Bugs flying all over the restaurant though and over the food.i was a little disappointed really

The restaurant was busy which is great to see, the staff started out pretty attentive. The three of us ordered entrees and three different mains..the meat and chicken on all plates were dry and flavourless. We weren't approached again to see if we required anything else. We partly cleared our own table and then were told that it was too late to order any desserts or drinks which was disappointing as we were hoping for a nice Greek dessert at least Réservez une table maintenant

On a busy Saturday night on Southbank in Melbourne and in the middle of the Melbourne food and wine festival my husband and I managed to book a table at Othello's. It was the second time we have eaten here and we were very happy we returned. You don't leave hungry after a visit to Othello's. If you are looking for somewhere well priced to eat at Southbank you can't go wrong here. Good food, well priced and good service. We will be going back.

The moment we stepped in the door we were treated with open friendly wait staff. We were given the menu to make a very tough selection - SO much to choose from. Presentation and quality were amazing. The flavours exploding in your mouth. The venue offers a good selection of wines to compliment your dining experience. We will be coming back. We have found a little gem here! The location was central to Southbank area.

7 of us went here on Anzac Day - I just wish we hadn't! We ordered from the menu - coffee with muffins, special $5. No muffins he said. We just had 4 coffee's and 3 teas. Had to wait 40 minutes! When finally we got our order the tea cups were very dirty. Coffee lukewarm.Cost $28 for this rubbish - which we left as we were catching the ferry! Not a good impression for our visitors from UK. Never again!

This restaurant is located along the riverbank, close to the casino and the arts center. The menu is varied. I had the salmon and mashed potatoes, which was lovely, cooked to perfection. The waitress was kind enough to substitute a small salad for the cooked vegetable. Coffee was good, people-watching was good, and the staff were very congenial. Réservez une table maintenant

Unfortunately, it looked like a great spot. No table service, order at the counter. Vacant tables left unattended by the previous patrons. 25 mins for a coffee, mixed cup and saucer. Appeared that there was no organisation with meals coming out and the servers not knowing where to place them. Not organised at all.
