The staff was extremely rude. I visited around 4 PM when the place was empty. A man informed me that a group of eight was arriving and provided no further explanation. My sister and I noticed that there was plenty of space, yet he insisted we would have to wait an hour. He wasn't polite about it and failed to clarify why we couldn't be seated. It's strange that a restaurant can't accommodate more than eight guests at once. They could have been more gracious instead of just turning us away. I won’t be returning; it’s truly disappointing.
Couldn’t decide what to have for dinner. Hadn’t been to Otilia’s in a while, ordered take out many times but not sit down. Felt it was time, let me tel you, IT WAS AMAZING! Nice quiet place, had shrimp in garlic appetizer and went through 2 rolls of. Read just dipping in the garlic sauce. Then decided to try their ‘Bacalhau a Murro’ I thought I was back in Portugal how delicious it was, potatoes baked perfectly and hardly any bones in my piece. A great spur of the moment decision. I’ll be back more times. Highly recommended.
We discovered this charming restaurant while driving by and decided to stop in. The warm welcome we received was delightful. We shared a delicious meal of Bacalhau no Forno (oven-roasted cod with roasted potatoes and onions) and the Pork Potatoes Special. Along with our main courses, we were served the most wonderful warm bread rolls and a refreshing salad. Although we didn’t try any desserts this time, we’re definitely planning to sample them on our next visit. We’ll be back soon!
Exceptional food! Everything is freshly prepared right after you place your order and is cooked to perfection. We tried the roasted cod, which was outstanding, the fried sardines that were absolutely fantastic, and the shrimp in garlic sauce that was simply incredible. The restaurant does not offer delivery at the moment. The delivery company takes a 30% cut from their earnings, which has led to higher prices and was further exacerbated by inflation. As a result, they decided to cancel their delivery service. I won’t be ordering again until the prices decrease.
