My first review I placed at the time seems to have disappeared! Spa day with my friend as a birthday treat and extremely disappointed! The light lunch was a so called buffet…. Consisting of a bit of cucumber, grated carrot, half a slice of meat, bits of pitta bread, coleslaw etc etc. the only good thing was the cheese cake at the end. After speaking to other guests we should have booked the afternoon tea at least they had some decent food! The staff in the restaurant were lovely though. We decided to celebrate my Mum's 90th birthday with a family dinner at Oulton Hall. It was a Saturday evening so busy. The Staff were very good to place our party of 13 in a semi alcove so a little detached from the rest of the restaurant. This helped to give more intamacy to our group. Which included a child and a baby. We had several members of our party with food allergies and dietery requirements. The staff were very good to keep in touch and check that our requirement were fulfilled. At no time were we made to feel that our issues were a problem. Always looked after by amazing staff it’s like being at home with a touch of luxury. The reception staff are always accommodating and youssef and nick make that experience extra special and always make sure i’m comfortable and have what i need. i love the revamp of modern bathrooms and that it’s accessible for my needs. When dining I couldn’t ask more from such a charming guy as oliver who’s always tries to make the experience enjoyable and accommodating as well as having an amazing champagne on ice that’s my favourite. Love this place feels like my family and never have to worry about anything
Just had a fantastic meal at the Calverley Grill. We were greeted by the wonderful Oliver as we entered the restaurant,he showed us to our table and created a wonderful atmosphere in the restaurant from the start. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave us great advice and wonderful service. The food was absolutely fantastic and well worth the money. Presentation and taste was on par with any top restaurant. Here are a few pictures of the delicious food. Thank you for making our evening...we will definitely be back!

I had the pleasure of dining at the Calverley Grill within Oulten Hall Hotel. The quality of the food was excellent along with the divere choice. The wine selection was also good. I recommend the Albarino! I would personally like to thank and commend Maisie who was the person that looked after her. She is a credit to the hotel and made us feel very welcome. Thanks again Maisie, keep up the good work!
The place is beautiful!! BUT I am so very disappointed I received sickness from my first meal there then on the second I was served RAW chicken. I was promised to be emailed by a manager but got ignored. Not so much as a sorry! DO NOT EAT THERE!!
Crowded noisy impersonal service microwaved over done hot food muesli etc stale left before breakfast on final day of visit went to local Tesco better food and better value
v busy and a bit slow but nice surroundings food decent and not over priced Thx to OLIVER who seemed to be running the entire restaurant on his own

Delicious and great service. Lovely staff waiting on and nice advice on the dishes. Greeters were a little amiable but polite enough.
Lovely food and lovely staff. Oliver and Carlos were both attentive without being imposing and funny without being cheesy
