This restaurant is a popular spot in rural Donegal with a large and varied menu, as well as an extensive drink selection. The service was polite and attentive, and they were able to accommodate a party of ten with advanced notice. The building has a rustic feel and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The Pimento cheese appetizer was delicious, with flavorful cheese and curried veggies. The deviled eggs were good, but had too much focus on the pork belly and not enough on the egg filling. To me this was the shining star of the entire area. During a ski trip to Seven Springs, I feel like we sampled every restaurant in town. This was number one with a bullet and an exclamation point. Very friendly wait staff. Excellent and creative cocktails. Food was unbelievable by any city's standard. The Thai Pork Belly Deviled Eggs were one of the best things I've ever eaten, full stop. I wouldn't have come up with that combination in an hundred years, but it works very well. Because this place is so good, it does get crowded, especially on the weekends. So book yourself a reservation. You will not regret it.
After visiting Seven Springs, I found this restaurant to be a cool spot to relax. I ordered the Wagyu burger and a salmon salad. The burger was served hot and fresh, although it was a bit too seasoned with pepper for my taste. The salad was very fresh and included slices of mushrooms. The service was excellent, with everyone working hard to make customers feel welcome. The outdoor seating area is great, and inside there are two large windows offering beautiful views of the mountains. I was slightly surprised that the menu hasn't changed much since my last visit, as it still offers similar options.
I know I have been to many other restaurants, but this one is truly amazing. We tried the deviled eggs with pork belly and the hummus sampler, and both were out of this world. Just a heads up - both appetizers are quite large. The hummus could easily serve a table of four. My scallops were seasoned with paprika and chili oil, and served with mushroom grits - absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and efficient, and the view from the deck was fantastic. The Black-Glocked Devil's Egg was incredibly flavorful and the salmon with roasted artichoke hearts was out of this world. This restaurant in rural Pennsylvania is not to be underestimated. The high-quality kitchen is thriving and impressive. While initially I found the prices to be a bit steep, looking back, they were comparable to what I would have paid in a big city with higher quality and service.
