Absolutely the worst service in the triangle area. My fiancé and came in Sunday at around 4:30 they let us know it would be a wait . No problem 15 minutes later we were at our booth . Not one waiter/waitress stop by to give us bread or take our drink order. Our waiter walked by us between 5-6 times and not once stopped . Another person finally takes our order and points out who is our waiter. We get bread and continue to have to ask for our drinks , appetizers and entrees . It 's 5:15 and no food insight . We watched as a couple in-front of us got seated and was not waited on so they got up and left . I asked the waiter for our check as we had enough , he walks back and does not give us our...
I was at this location several weeks ago. Service is terrible and pedestrian. Waitress had no idea what a Virgin Mary was. The place was un-bussed (tables covered in past diners plates) bathrooms were nasty. Food is overly sweetened and when it came to the Melbourne PorterHouse at nearly $30.00 it was the worst steak I have ever had. It was overdone, thin and just really bad. Really really bad. I have no idea what it meant to be Melbourne or Australian . But this is just Bad. I have tried this chain a few times in the past year in hopes it will improve. It keeps getting worse. Whether I try it again in hopes of something different, it continues to get worse and worse. Never again.
The atmosphere during Sunday game time is better than the food or service. (The bone in ribeye was tasteless and chewy ... probably due to poor choice of meat and not necessarily preparation). I actually felt bad for the bartender who barely had help. Upon arriving, she was obviously flustered and in a not so pleasant mood, but I think it had more to do with trying to manage food and drink orders by herself. The bartender said the manager would clean the bar and he did an awful job it was such a poor cleaning job it was funny to watch. By contrast, the Saturday night bartender was great attentive and conscientious.
I've eaten at all the Outback locations in the RTP area, and this one is my favorite. Wait times aren't too bad, even on weekend nights, and the waitstaff is great. The best of the apps is the famous Bloomin' Onion, with its rich, flavorful dipping sauce, but the Sydney Shrooms, Aussie Cheese Fries and Coconut Shrimp are excellent as well. Entrees my favorites are the Victoria Filet and Alice Springs Chicken. Their prime rib is delicious and practically melts in your mouth. This is a great restaurant and the Australian atmosphere is fun. Happy eating!

My husband and I wanted to treat mom to a special lunch so we decided on Outback. We had such a wonderful experience thanks to Key, our server. She was very attentive to us, checked on us regularly and got us everything we needed in a timely fashion. Plus our meals were all delicious!
Absolutely amazing. Everything was delicious. 8 ounce steaks and 10 ounce steak perfectly cooked, you could cut it with a fork! Do yourself a favor and get the steak chili!!!! Service was great! One of the best dining experiences I have had for under 100 bucks!!! Try these guys out!
This location is always short staffed and the waitlist is over a hour. We have been to this restaurant on several occasions and we had to wait a long time due to staffing. The Food is pretty tasty, if you can get in.
The only problem was the few waitresses working at that time. It was Sunday the restaurant was almost full and people kept coming. Our waitress was wonderful (sorry forgot her name) and the food like always great

Ordered the ribs, baked potatoes and salad. The St Louis Ribs were tender snd the baked potato was fine. No issues with the salad. Overall the order to go was good. It met my needs but it was pricey.
I had the grilled chicken today and it was moist and fork tender. kee was our server and she was very helpful and took care of all. Our needs prompt and was very courteous. Will return.
