Couple of heads up Thursday during golf season at midday the golfers from Madison Park Golf Course are at the bar and are very loud. I was a golfer back in the but not into the loudness of the somewhat intoxicated fellas during my lunch these days. Just thinking about kids. Sunday's, and may be during good days to motorcycle. I've done that a few times, too. But again, thinking about children. And you can't get fried chicken on Sunday's I found out. The food is incredible here, and the ladies are great. I don't think you will be disappointed!!!!!
We were looking for something new and this was recommended by a friend. I'm glad they recommended. The Owls Nest is a great neighborhood bar/restaurant with very friendly staff. The atmosphere is casual, with plenty of seating at the bar or tables. I had wings, which were really good. My wife had a pulled pork sandwich with slaw that she really enjoyed. Heather did a great job taking care of us. We'll definitely be back to try out their Thursday fried chicken special. It looked delicious!!
I actually love this bar and have for like ten years. However Kirstie, apparently she's the owner... has the worst vibe on earth. The food was great the drinks were decent and every other employee that we talked to was in high spirits very professional kind and terrified of the owner. Wouldn't even speak to us while she's behind the bar. Didn't say please thank you or your welcome at either of our trips in the last few weeks. Kinda disgusting. Very unprofessional and honestly rude af.
I have eaten at the Owl's Nest several times and it has always been a good experience. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is well cooked and flavorful with sizeable portions. Monday's half price pizza is excellent, I love the thin crispy crust, and distribution of toppings/cheese. The Friday fish special is another excellent meal, the walleye filets and sides are plentiful. The French fries are the bomb! Price per person: $10–20 Réservez une table maintenant
