We selected this spot as a last minute dining option for New Year's Eve Dinner. It is inside one of the indoor shopping malls, but the location has great decor and ambiance.....and it feels like it has indoor and outdoor seating (via the clouds painted on blue ceilings and good lighting). For NYE they had some special dishes in addition to the standard entrees. My wife and I decided to go with the New York Strip Sirloin, baked potato and green beens as the first dish, along with the Scallops, green beens and steamed potatoes. as with other restaurants on the las vegas strip, the wine prices are ridiculously high. discovered for canyon road house wine, which was also overpriced. mic experience here. the scallops were wonderful and cooked as desired. also the lobster bisque was very good. however, points for the tilapia special were dropped. When it arrived, I knew why it was only $11.95 it was heavily baked and fried and reminded me of something frozen out of the food business. I didn't ask how it was prepared, so that it was my fault. server was very good, except tilapia not to describe thoroughly. I'd go back, but I'd be more selective on what I'm ordering.
Absolutely awful! The waiter didn’t know anything about the menu when we asked questions. When asking about the different wines he tried to tell us they all tasted the same. He thought we would just take his word for it. He should’ve admitted that he didn’t know and just go ask instead of feeding us bull information. His favorite word was “I’m sorry” and had no explanation when he dropped the ball. I will never recommend this place to anyone or ever visit again myself.
the waiter pushed the moat expensive court available; the table informed about $6.00 cocktail special, but when the check arrived, he had charged $12.00 for this cocktail; the guard was as if he had never imagined of groupon; the waiter informed me that my thunfischsalat medium-sized, but the same arrived medium – could rarely have been presented! table liked reasonable price – even better if groupon had been recognized – 4food. Seems like the quality may have gone down (along with the prices) competing with the neighboring restaurant. Granted we had a limited meal during brunch, but it fell a bit short of the usual 5 star dinners that we have there. We would go back again, and see if this was a temporary lapse.
Seemed great at first but then completely ignored once a couple of other people showed up. Best dish were oysters. Mussels tasted fishy scallops overdone
Fantastic food and wine. Wonderful server. Loved the location near the marriott chateau
Mediocre at best. Tasteless crab and possibly pre frozen lobster. Sides were bad.
