Pablo & Rusty's is just across the street from Epping railway station, making it ideal as a meeting place when picking up someone getting off the train. It's also a great place to walk to on a weekend for a coffee and a bite to eat. Our usual visit is for brunch on a Sunday, and one of these days we'll get there early enough to bag an outside table, but so far we've been a bit too late. The atmosphere's very casual and the food's served informally, but everything we've had has been fresh and tastes good. The menu offers a good range of choices, and they do a wicked cheeseburger on what I guess is sourdough turkish-style bread which is my favourite. The place doesn't try to be trendy, nor is...
I came here for breakfast and ate the spiced granola and had a large coffee; both of which were delicious. Staff were very friendly and service was prompt. The decor is a little dated and in need of updating (eg. paint peeling, worn tables and chairs). There is very limited outdoor seating and they do not take reservations, though luckily we were still able to secure a table. One staff member passed my hot coffee over the top of my baby which could have resulted in third degree burns if it had spilt (!); just something important to be aware of. Overall, I was very happy with this cafe and I would return. Thank you!
I should keep Alpha (formerly Pablo and Rusty's) a secret for locals only but I have to admit it is one of our favourite places for coffee. The change of name and ownership did not change the quality of the coffee at all but it did bring a breath of fresh air to the food menu. The BEATS (bacon, egg, avocado, tomato and sourdough) is fantastic as is the burger! The vibe is relaxed with background music (yes, you can still have a conversation) and art on the walls. It is a great place to meet friends - try it!
I have purchased a variety of beans from the Pablo and Rusy chain. All of which brew nicely using an Aeropress. I love the coffee here that's for sure! The decor is inviting with an earthy undertone and modern flair. Staff have always been more than helpful and quite friendly on all occasions. Located right opposite Epping trainstation, you can't go wrong getting your morning coffee fix here!

We had brunch there. Was nice. It is called the Alpha Coffee Bar according to the signage on the street. It uses Pablo and Rusty beans and the taste of the coffee is excellent with a really nice long palate. not bitter at all but great flavour. We had a small snack with it that was nice. Service was a bit slow but the quality was good.

I have tried just about every place offering coffee in Epping. Out of all of them, this place is where you should get it from. Starts at 6am during the week and offers pastries and sandwiches. Conveniently located across from epping station.
Best coffee in Epping! Sit up the back and chill! Enjoy the music, the darkened room, the artwork, the couches. Lovely. Just wish they had wifi!

Coffee is always good and staff there super friendly. Small selection of food that's there is nice and is great on the way to the station.
The staff are super lovely and they're open pretty early which is perfect for the morning commute.
