A party of 4 had a reservation . The hostess did not even greet us. Simply asked how many in our party and brought us to our table. Our server was Jasmine. She took our order, brought our food but was very curt. We told her we were not in a rush...nor was the restaurant busy. But, she kept coming back to the table clearing dishes for no reason. She Even took my dish and wanted to know if we wanted dessert before the other 2 people even finished their meal. I did get upset with her. There after she stayed away for at least 5 minutes. I had dined here with a women's group of 8 for lunch. I really liked it so I convinced my spouse another couple to try it for dinner. This will be my new go to for Asian food. We were seated near a family with small kids. Although, it was great, I would select a later dinner time for my next dinner when I want it less kid-friendly.

Servers really need to work on their people skills. It doesn't take that much effort to be friendly. Love the food here, but getting tired of rude attitude from servers. Try to put a smile on your face while serving the paying customers, please. Sushi bar guys are great and friendly, but waitress not so much.

We went to Kamiya for different things; I like curry; my wife likes fried rice; and ourf friend wanted sushi. We all got what we wanted and had a good time. As a side benefit, we ra in to several friends as this is a neighborhood favorite.

The name was different on the outside of the building and the menu was exactly the same as another sushi place in town. Was looking to try something new, it was overpriced average food.
