I really enjoy the food, but the vegetables are nearly always undercooked. The most frustrating part is their inconsistent hours. During my last three visits, they've been closed for reasons I can't understand. Today, I arrived at 4:30 only to find a note at the drive-thru stating they closed at 3 PM but would return to their regular hours tomorrow. It’s incredibly irritating to make the trip across town only to find them closed!
The restaurant features a unique concept, resembling a Japanese rice bowl version of Chipotle. However, the execution falls a bit short, with an excess of vegetables compared to the meat, and the flavor is somewhat lacking unless you add extra sauce while eating. The prices are reasonable, which helps improve the overall experience somewhat, but in the end, it feels like just an average outing.
I love the food, although the vegetables are almost raw every time. The frustrating thing is the completely random hours. The last three times I left were closed for unknown reason. I went today at 4:30 to find a note on the ride that said she closed at 3 today, but would resume her regular hours tomorrow. It is soooo frustrating to drive through the city for no reason!!
