We have been coming here for years and were greatly saddened at our most recent experience. Although being seated on time for our reservation and ordering promptly, the wait time was extremely lengthy. I am unsure whether it stems from understaffed employees or simply servers who are unattentive, but for the almost 2 hours we waited for our main courses, it felt like we were largely ignored by wait staff. Beautiful setting overlooking the water. We sat outside, had a cooler breeze but sun was warm. It was around 1pm and 80+ degrees out. Drink orders, given water very soon after sitting. We asked for iced tea to which we were told no they were making more. We ordered the bread and butter with the smoked sea salt yummm . We had to ask for silverware after bread came out. We placed our order fish and chips, chicken tenders and salmon BLT {aioli on side} and after that there were 4 tables sat 3 2 tops and 1 2 adults/ 2 kids . The restaurant offers a lovely view and pleasant ambiance, but the service leaves much to be desired. The floors were dirty, and it seemed like the servers were often off somewhere out of sight. We had to wait for a table and decided to grab a drink at the bar during the wait, only to be met with the remark, "it won’t be any faster here." When we were finally seated, we received the all-day menu despite it being dinner time, and we were informed that they had run out of most items on the dinner menu due to red tide—yet I saw someone at the bar enjoying the cioppino. Service was super slow. They brought out one item at a time and it took almost 20 minutes from first person served-until the last. Burgers and salad and soup nothing complicated either. Very choppy service, no flow, and very expensive food for the quality and portion size.
I absolutely love Semiahmoo and all its amenities! The staff is fantastic, the outdoor dining is delightful, and the seafood dishes are amazing! I also enjoy the drinks you can take down to the beach!
Great place to grab and good snack. Mostly bar food but don’t let it fool you, the pizza is amazing! Service was good and the view of the oven and Canada in the background makes up for a lot.
The food was delicious, but don't expect speedy service. It took an hour between when we ordered until our food arrived. Make a reservation if you want to have dinner at a convenient time.

Good was inedible.... overcooked salmon, burned potatoes and creamed corn, all over salted for $39. Terrible.
