The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and our waitress was nice. If you are accustomed to your waiters constantly checking up on you, don't expect that here. She checked in a few times but we usually had to flag her down if we wanted something and she helped us right away. Personally I prefer it that way, but I know some people like the constant attention so just be aware of how things run here. I love Thai food but had never eaten here before so, I did what I always do when trying a new Thai restaurant, and ordered the red curry. The presentation was okay. Although the staff was attentive, the food was incredibly little fun. The Thai iced tea was extremely watered, nothing like the thick milk tea that goes so well with spicy dishes. The pad thai was edible, but it lacked the delicious peanut flavor you would expect. The lamb game, which was supposed to be a boss's special, had a small meat layer covered with thick fat on each bone, which was very difficult to eat. The mushrooms in this dish were so hard that they could not chew. Unfortunately, the only positive thing I can say about food is that the presentation was beautiful. If you're looking for a good Thai menu, you need to look elsewhere.
Literally cannot praise this place enough!!! I love everything about this restaurant, the service is incredible, the food is AMAZING and it comes out so quickly, and it’s so reasonably priced!! I love that they play CNN, and the ambiance is 10/10! This is my third time here in like the past week and I love it so so so much, definitely will be a longtime customer!! We have been here a few times before and enjoyed it, which makes this bad food all the more disappointing. The shrimp tasted old, the eggplant was swimming in oil, the Summer rolls were falling apart and almost all lettuce. There wasn?t a single good dish from our order. I really wanted to love this place because it's so close to my house. I ordered the red curry with chicken. I hate being negative, but it's pretty bland. I liked them adding a lot of vegetables. But it's really amazing. Asian Temptations (Poughkeepsie) and Lemon Grass Thai (New Paltz) make it better. The food is not terrible. It's nothing to write home about.
My family and I found Pad Mango while road tripping for the day. The staff met us with smiles and prompt service. The decor was very pleasing and the food arrived quickly. The food itself was both visually appealing and delicious. The portions were on point and the whole meal was very fairly priced. A well deserved 5 stars. Thank you for the experience! ?
This place is hard to find! We're out of town and craved Thai, but this place was overwhelming. A little diving. The summer rolls were good, but packed loosely. The pad Thai was fishy and had dried tofu and barely bean sprouts. Not the best. The red curry was watery and lacked unphf. Maybe Covid influenced her budget and energy to make it better?
