Never again will I step foot in this place. Food was mediocre, Service was sub-par and the atmosphere was dark and hot. The worst part of this restaurant is the owner. I watched him belittle his staff and literally scream across the restaurant while there are customers sitting right next to him. Look at how this guy responds to these reviews. It should solidify why you should never go here. I cant wait to see how this guy responds to me. To the owner: Treat people with respect. If you want to get the best out of your employees, don't treat them the way I saw you treat them. I feel bad for your employees. Upscale Irish pub with nice decor, really comfortable chairs, good selection of hand picked Irish whiskeys, and most importantly, amazing staff! We came a little late, after the kitchen was closed (pit stop on a road trip, not planned), but Kaolin (bartender extraordinaire and all around nice guy) got us a batch of pub food that was honestly better than most of the restaurants around. The fish and chips had perfectly fried cod, flaky inside, crispy outside. The fries, thick cut and golden. The corned beef and Swiss fritters, so juicy and indulgent. And so on. You get the idea. Literally every aspect of this experience was perfect we 're putting a map reminder to stop in on the way back!
My first english shepards pie was not what I expected. I did, however, go at closing and was accommodated. So, I'm not sure how it would taste during regular business hours. I am a chef, so I ws expecting more life to the meal based on price and also a larger portion based on price. I got more of a portion for a 12 year old. Bit paid a main course price. But it may have been European portions that are smaller than american portions.
PaddyMac’s is an absolute Gem and a must visit! Everything from the ambiance to the drinks were really wonderful, Caleb couldn’t have provided a better service. He was absolutely personable and runs the place like a champ! Unfortunately I only went there for drinks, but I will come back to try the food! Great Irish bar and restaurant. I absolutely LOVE their complementary scones! I don’t know if there is someone’s grandma making them in the kitchen but these things are so delish! We usually get Cottage pie and it’s so yummy! Really tastes like it’s homemade! I highly recommend you try it! Service is always friendly and I love how close it is to where we live
Cold steak fries! Are we going back to a few years ago where if you get an order for fries, you drop a couple of orders because you know eventually you'll get a couple more orders for them??? Please, just don't. You lost 2 stars for that. Yes, I was able to say something to staff regarding this, but I was done eating.
