Paddys point is a well known and revisited pub for a good reason, it can never be faulted! Staff amazing; friendly, welcoming and attentive. Food and drinks; always a good flawless and filling feed. Venue; has been beautifully redecorated and the atmosphere is always lively. Tables and chairs well spaced out to enable people space to move about and feel comfortable. Staff prewarned us that there was delays in the kitchen due to volumes of orders, we were happy to wait. Busy venue but all staff more than happy to help. Always look forward to revisiting.
Fantastic place! Great food, great drinks, nice music and super service. Wonderful people who work there and the whole place oozes of good energy! Of the staff, I would like to especially mention bartender Paul. Good humor (the laughter is loose), he is service-minded and generally has a positive attitude and energy that it is nice to be around. I highly recommend Paddy's Point and it has really become one of my favorite places (this also applies to the days without alcohol).
Each visit wouldn't be complete without a visit to Paddy's. I tend to pop down at least once, for a very hearty lunch. Service is always efficient and very friendly. Food portions are good... its the sort of place you need to leave the cholesterol medication at the door (or take a double dose later on. You decide! Worth a visit for some good pub grub and evening entertainment, if it takes your fancy.
We decided to try the food and a few drinks without booking a table...all 6 of us had different meals and mine the cod was excellent crispy batter home made chips with salad dips. The service from the staff was excellent..6 meals and 6 beers €70 ...will put this one on my list for a return visit
