We were confused to find a place to eat. Pizzeria, I said no ... My husband didn't like to taste Asian food. Our kids preffered Mc Donald. We got a headache; people, Stomachs. Finally, I saw again the pagoda when driving around. I...asked my husband to stop to choose this restaurant. The garden, the pagoda, the statue ... They are sooo beautiful. A great view to see from the street and through the pagoda's window we could see the beautiful church. Our Kids were happy to play in the playground behind pagoda. Oh. birthday dinner on recommended. Rumpsteak was obviously of very poor quality, despite the fact that the cook was tired. first test full with order medium and thus tough second test medium but meat in mouth totally dry. sworn with sauce was good. for operation:Eastern European dame with the faible to the top. declines drink money from euro 1.20 with the note "on a euro I am not dependent". I can hardly judge whether this is in the sense of the lead. I think that a much higher drink money has been expected or we have misunderstood it and the dame generally does not take a tip.Who still appeal to the gf.In total a pity about the nice place. otherwise this doesn't fit our experiences at all.
Lunch with family, several people, separate room. We could have closed the door, maybe should have, since noise from service and kitchen outside was loud. But then again we did not dare to as service was already not attentive and slow. Menus were collected from...us before we ordered as apparently they didn’t have enough, after ordering we were served the food very slowly and also not st the same time. If a lunch takes beyond three hours due to the slow service, that speaks for itself. Food was good though, would have given that three+ stars. Seems this isn’t the place to go if crowded or you‘re with a bigger party.
my wife and I visited the pagodenburg after a trip to the nearby shopping center. the lady who served us has given us the feeling to be welcome and the time taken to explain the different dishes on the menu. a very pleasant eating in a relaxed environment and we will definitely come back when we are back in this part of Germany. A very enjoyable meal in relaxing surroundings and will...definitely return if we are in this part of Germany again.
