Paint Lake Lodge

The view from our cabin was breath taking. Unfortunately that was the only nice thing I have to say about this place. I've rented a few cabins before and this is by far the one that needs the most work. There was garbage everywhere. I mean everywhere. All around our fire pit, in front of our cabin, along the trail to the lodge - everywhere. When you drive into the cabin area there was a large collection of stoves and other large garbage. Holy heck. I wouldn't say it was clean, and if you plan to eat off of the plates give them a wash first. I found mouse poops in the pans.. The patio doors didn't lock in my cabin, but there was a stick so I guess it was secure. The other door had a large gap so the bugs could come in, and they did. Oh did they ever. We were supposed to stay 2 nights, but only stayed one. I will say that the breakfast at the lodge was fantastic and all of the staff was friendly. I don't think I would make the trip up here again. It really is a diamond in the rough. There is so much potential. I'm shocked and saddened that a lodge on parks canada land would be so filthy. You would think they would have some say..

We eat here from time to time and really enjoy the food and service. My favourite is the cabin burger. It's right on the lake with patio service and great view. We even did take out once which was very good.

Service & supper was awesome. Plenty of food on the plate. Well worth the money. Delish ???? will diff come here to eat again. Very warm welcome from the staff. Thanks so much.

We were staying in one of the cabins. Pretty good food, overall. Nice that they have wifi in the restaurant building. Gorgeous view overlooking the lake.

I went for coffee the other day and WOW it was so good. Cant wait to go back there, going to try out the breakfast, always friendly staff!
