The ambiance is absolutely delightful, and the service is outstanding. The food was tasty and enjoyable. However, I must point out that the portions are extremely small—more than just small, they're tiny. The only exception was the minuscule croissant filled with chicken salad, which was gone in three bites, and I felt there was a notable lack of protein in the offerings. I understand that this is an afternoon tea experience, but at $30 per person, I expected a bit more. Each guest can choose a “pot” of tea, but it isn't left on the table. We were a party of two seated at a table set for four, and were placed in a room with a noisy party of six. The overhead lights were too bright for my taste; softer lighting or lamps would have created a much nicer atmosphere, similar to what I noticed in another room. However, the staff was very kind and knowledgeable, which made for a lovely experience overall!

02-04-2023 My 13 year old daughter and I had a mommy daughter day. We decided to have High Tea at the Painted Tea Cup. We enjoyed everything from the food, decor, tea and the service. This place is so charming. We will definitely return to create more memories together.

A perfect old world tea room... beautiful china dishes, delicately flavored teas, masterfully crafted tea sandwiches and desserts. The whole place is sparkling clean, even the bathrooms are a marvel of style. Mary puts the personal touch on everything! A sheer delight! Réservez une table maintenant

No children's menu? I didn't mind paying the same price for a child, but little children did not like the food, wasted over $90 for 3 little girls to not eat anything, they did not even like the banana bread. For adults, food was really good.

I had a wonderful experience! The food was delicious, and there was an excellent variety of teas. It was my granddaughter's first High Tea, and she was absolutely thrilled. The staff was incredibly accommodating and wonderful!
