After getting engaged last year, I was feeling a little disheartened that we wouldn 't be able to afford our 'perfect ' day. Until we met Tracy and her fab team... My mum and I had High Tea at Painters for the first time in January, and we were totally blown away by the food, service and value for money! We spent that evening drooling over their catering menu, and a few weeks later, we contacted Tracy and booked our special day. Just 6 months later, we celebrated our wedding and had the most perfect day. We can't recommend holding an event at Painters at the Angel highly enough. Tracy was so helpful during the booking and planning stages of our party, with great communication throughout. We had the whole venue to ourselves from 5pm onwards, inside and out. The staff were so helpful, helping us to decorate, set up our playlist and super friendly all evening. The venue is so lovely with a cosy feel. The food was amazing and barely any of it was left! There is a great selection of drinks and cocktails. Delicious food but disappointed that an option of having coffee with an afternoon tea wasn’t available. Food drinks: Delicious afternoon tea with generous portions and good food. The only disappointment is that coffee is not included in the price of a tea. Some people don’t drink tea and it seems churlish to charge for a Small cup of coffee. Stayed this past weekend and was a really lovely stay! Staff were wonderful and so accommodating and helpful. Room was great and an excellent price! Spent a very pleasant afternoon celebrating my grandsons 16th birthday here. The organised a great buffet were very attentive with the drinks. Location is within Sudbury there is nearby street parking. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
