Painters' Restaurant

This is an interesting place. We went for dinner before a play at the Gateway theater. The place was bustling and had patrons of all ages. We had the French Onion soup and Shishito Pepper appetizers, both of which were very tasty. For dinner, my husband had the Arroz Con Pollo and I had the Marinated Skirt Steak; he had the better dish, though he said it could've had more seasoning. We didn't have any dessert. The service was good, albeit very casual. (I wasn't always sure who were the servers and who were guests. I will say that it was VERY loud!! Food and service were great WAY too loud couldn’t hear the other couple we were with without shouting there was a wedding and DJ in an adjoining room terrible acoustics. We were disappointed!
