Great setting looking over to the former holiday palace of Empress Eugénie now a luxury hotel, this asian of all varieties was probably one of the first chinese restaurants in the area as the decor is still so amazingly kitsch and original. There are only a handful of asian restaurants in the area. And most cater to all which is disappointing. I wish it was as the decor suggests a real authentic Chinese dim sum type establishment. After a really stormy afternoon we headed into town and took the first parking space we could find. Because of torrential rain we decided to dart into the first restaurant we could find, and how lucky! We wouldn't have ordinarily chosen Chinese/Vietnamese whilst visiting France but have to say the food was absolutely delicious. Far tastier than we get back in England. Prawn dumplings superb and Vietnamese prawn and mushroom was simply fabulous. My husband had spring rolls then a spicy chicken dish. Hosts were really friendly and very humorous. Lovely evening. Plenty of trade collecting take aways too.

My wife and I grabbed lunch here during a very rainy day in May and were pleasantly surprised by the food. The Asian menu is divided into three types of cuisine (Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese), but it seems like there are traces of all three in all the dishes. We got a noodle dish and basically their version of chop suey which warmed our bellies on a dreary day. I would definitely go back.

Arrived at Palais de Jade at 7pm first. We were served quick and had our food within 5 minutes. The food tastes great for the price. If you don't arrive early would recommend booking as the tables get filled up very quickly. Would definitely come back.
