from the moment we went into palette, we knew we had a good experience. the personal was friendly and attentive without being in their face. they were all knowledgeable and could describe what was in the food and how it was prepared. the eating looked as good as it tasted and was delivered timely as we had a show to go at the theater next door. this has already been confirmed by restaurant e-mail and again by the employees when we arrived, so that our meals would not stop us. we had no time or room for the gloomy, so were invited to come again after the show for coffee and we were glad that we did. coffee was a beautiful, well rounded mix and the deserts were worth coming back. Lunch on a Thursday with a lovely lobster entree then a vary undercooked and bland poached quail. Then duck dish for 2, the duck baklava was delicious, the duck neck sausage was ok without the sauce, the baked duck breast was edible but quite undercooked. Potatoes and whitlof were delicious. As we didn’t finish our servings we asked for takeaway containers for potatoes and whitlof and were told no. They were currently sourcing containers. We sourced our own. They said it’s your risk if you take and we said yes that’s fine. Also told them other 2 star restaurant had given us takeaway containers. overall the experience was disappointing. I do not think that a fine restaurant should show customers a menu where the dinges are not available, like the duck for 2. the decor is more that of a casual caffe than a fine restaurant. the service lacked in terms of filling wine and mineral water up to the point where it was almost unconventional, as our waiter could not find our mineral water and went from station to station to search it. the food was delicious and interesting, but the portions very small calculated for the prices.

We had previously enjoyed dining at Palette in two earlier locations, but our latest visit was quite disappointing. We inquired whether there was a new chef, and we were informed that it was indeed the same cook. It seems he may have lost his direction with the food, which felt unnecessarily complicated. The emphasis appeared to be more on intricate layers rather than on achieving great flavors. However, the staff was attentive and the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant. This is my second visit, I was slightly disappointed on this occasion. It is a very good restaurant however care needs to be exercised that ambivalence doesn’t set in. That is I thought the service was average and ambience was ruined by loud dance music. It is a quality restaurant and therefore these two areas need further attention. Food is very good and does change with the seasons. I will return and am hopeful of improvement in service and atmosphere.

The food was presented beautifully, staff well knowledge with the food being served. Polite staff who took the service to the next level by recommending drinks or food we may like based on our tastes, even went out of their way to make a virgin cocktail based on my flavour profile. Overall great experience, the camera roll and cuttlefish were our picks of the night. The only downfall came from other guests who acted abruptly towards staff near our table

We tried the tasting menu. Love the ambiance, service was great, but we expected a little bit more on the food. Taste is good for fish fish, however Swordfish is a bit too dry, would suggest to use some other white fish with much tender texture.

Beautiful food wonderfully presented. Our waiter had excellent knowledge of the menu and wine recommendations. We were going to a show after and the restarant made sure our meals came through promptly. We will return again. Réservez une table maintenant

I had an incredible dining experience that deserves six stars! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff were exceptional, providing detailed explanations for each dish as it was served.
