palmers is sold as a small independent coffeeshop, the hot and cold drinks, hot snacks and handmade cakes, definitiw the best. a not for profit company, they keep the product quality high and the prices reasonable. in the former Baptist church on the claremont street, the interieur has been well converted into its current use and also has an area outside for tables on good days. a must visit space for the well-earned break from shopping.

As always. Great tea (at least five cups each out of the pot!! . Teacakes today were lovely. Great friendly staff. Always a lovely welcome.
