This place is a lot more than pizza.I stopped here for lunch, and there was a small crowd inside already. I hate pizza, but it looked okay; just on a heater, several flavours.There are falafel, shwarma, kebabs, wraps, salads, and fried chicken. Also had a lot of cold drink options, and a display of sweets. I ordered two fataya (only spinach offered).The fataya $(2.50 ea) were really great, amazing flavour and lovely presentation with nice fold and fresh parsley (esp for takeout!). Only downside was that they were quite soggy and temp was very uneven (pastry was warm, inside was very cold), so this made the bottoms very wet (takeout container doesn't help). I got a flyer from Panada and decided to order from them. I ordered meat sambousek and cheese samousek and a small poutine. Not many places have sambosa or sambousek so I was excited. The meat pastry was good but it had weird yellow beans in it that we picked out, and the cheese had so much onion and garlic that we couldn't finish them. The poutine was not awful much to my surprise the gravy didn't taste canned but the fries were freezerburnt and so we did not finish that either because of that. I heard they have great pizza slices so I would not dismiss this place based on its poutine and sambousek.
I visited the location on Highfield Park on Wednesday for lunch. We often will have a slice of pizza and a drink for lunch, and expect the average slice of pizza. But this is not the average slice of pizza. This was excellent. Pizza, including crust was perfect. All this for $5. This is worth going out of the way for this pizza. If the pizza is this good, makes me curious if other items here are just as good. I intend to be back.
Great pizza/donair place that was recommended to me by a local. It's in a local neighbourhood and that is easy to miss. The donair platter I had was amazing and I was really full after my meal. The meat was laid on a bed of french fries covered with sauce and topped with onions and tomatoes. It was delicious and the place makes their own donair meat. Réservez une table maintenant
