Unfortunately, my dining experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. Upon being seated at a booth for two, which I had not requested, I placed my order and received my coffee. However, I was approached by the owner in a hostile manner, informing me that I should not have been seated at a booth as it could get very busy. Despite there being several empty tables and booths at 2 pm with no crowd waiting, the owner made it clear that he hoped I would not take my time with my meal. He continued to make comments and did not show any consideration for me as a patron, making me feel insignificant and unwanted. Been coming here for 10 years. I used to give Pancakes Plus a 5 star. Recently, their service and quality have suffered. It really is hit or miss with the friendliness and service of the servers. Some servers go out of their way to make everything right, others simply do not care. I have observed eye rolling at customers from one of the servers. At least 50% of the time, the food comes out cold. They use Krusteaz pancake mix which is fine, but they should mention their pancakes are not homemade. Overall, an ok eatery. Google Plus, Discovery plus, Paramount Plus, none of them can stack up against Pancake Plus. This quaint dinner was the perfect blend of old timey dinner with a modern menu. I got the Chicken Quesadilla Wrap and substituted the fries for onion rings. Only one word to describe the meal. Electric. The blend of chicken, peppers, and cheeses were everything my heart wanted at that moment in time. The onion rings were the perfect substitution to provide a much needed crunch. All of this was accompanied by a French vanilla coffee that recharged my soul after an early morning hike. This place is a nice surprise.. It is located near, what looks to be, an industrial area, but even so, this place is still thriving and rightfully so. Service is efficient and breakfast food is solid and consistent. Place gets busy and the place rises to each occasion. You can tell the restaurant is managed very well. The staff work together like a symphony and it shows with their service. Pancakes are yummy, portions are impressive and price is fair. We tried the banana walnut pancake after seeing a picture here and it was delicious. Highly recommended. Corn beef hash is also a nice side dish. Food was amazing and delicious. I visited during fall time and they had pumpkin flavor pancake and I am glad I tried. Chocolate flavor is my all time favorite. My group was seated outside which was fun experience. Next time visit I would def try some other new things. One of the best local Pancakes Plus.
First time here, outstanding service and great food. Servers are kind and engaged to help us. Chloe was our server and was very helpful and caring. Family oriented feel. Highly recommend. Living in Rockland for 2 years now, this is the best breakfast place I have been in.
Since the renovation, the food has gone downhill fast. Simply, it's not the same as it w a s just a few months ago. As to service, just make sure you get the Asian lady. She is great. The very short waitress can't be bothered to refill a cup of coffee.
The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The service staff is also fantastic. We have visited this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. We will definitely continue to be regular customers.

Delicious! Seated quickly. Clean. Good service. Strong coffee. Bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. A little costly. Would recommend!
This restaurant is an excellent choice for a delicious breakfast or lunch. The staff is fantastic and the food is incredibly tasty.
