I decided to try this restaurant after it became popular on social media. As someone from the Southwest, I'm quite particular about my Mexican food, so I went in with low expectations—lower than the age of the owner's girlfriend, to be honest. The service was just okay, but the food had a strange taste that reminded me of paint. Perhaps our server had some paint on her hands when she brought our plates. I would recommend avoiding this place; even Taco Bell might be more authentic and ethical.
Great food! And I'm a mexican food enthusiast. Lol. Only 4 stars because our waiter was completely lost. He struggled with only 3 tables. I rip on him because we were starving and he waited on people who came in after us. Hopefully they fix that guy so you don't have to experience that too. Oh yeah, we split the 8lb burrito and took leftovers home and ate it for 3 days.
The 16-year-old waitress attempted to flirt with my boyfriend while I was there with him. When I brought it up to the owner, he casually mentioned that this behavior isn't uncommon for her. To my shock, they then began to kiss each other! Both of them had blue and black paint on their hands, which made the situation even stranger.
I've visited this place many times, and I've always enjoyed the food and the excellent staff. If you're leaving fake reviews based on something you've seen go "viral," you might want to verify your sources and consider who started those rumors. It's worth looking into the motivations of those jealous ex-wives. Just my two cents. Réservez une table maintenant
The dining room is open on Fri, Sat and Sun now. It was as delicious as I remembered it. You have to go up to the counter and order your dinner and they bring it to the table but that doesn't make it any less enjoyable. The food was piping hot, chips and salsa are complimentary, and the service was very good.
Adult manager interested in a 16 year old server means this is not a safe, family friendly restaurant. It’s a shame… Mexican food deserves better representation.. even the refried beans are ashamed to be associated with this place.
