Panduro Cool Food

This café /tapas place/bar has something to offer for whatever time of day you wish to visit. The owners have a bread shop accross the road called 100% pan that makes the best bread and cakes in the area so the fact that you can get their pastries and cakes for breakfast here in Panduro is something worth doing. They serve a good looking coffee too. At lunchtime and in the evenings, they have marvellous beer on tap (estrella galicia), great music and its fantastic that they don´t have wifi as you have to talk to people!!. We have tried absolutely everything on the tapas menu. Its all fabulous especially the shredded pork arepas and the croquetas. The croquetas come with a selection of different flavoured mayonnaises. In the evenings, they have a selection of gins and mojitos and the music creates a great little stopping off point if you are on the way to dinner or on the way back from dinner save yourself and have dessert here. The cakes are out of this world and worth trying. If you are a little hungrier, then try their gourmet burgers. The tuna one that they have just put on the menu is so delicious that I could have it for dinner every day of the week. Really a burst of flavour and ingredients. They also have beef option and a duck option too. The decor is quirky and fun and Marlene and her staff are friendly and attentive to all. As you can tell, I have been more than several times but the tuna burger sparked me into action about writing this review! It was delicious. All round great experience.

My husband and I visited this little cafe yesterday. It is situated in a lovely littla outdoor plaza and has beautiful little flowers on the tables. The desserts and pasteries are amazing and very enticing and the pasteries we had taste great. Unfortunately thats were the experience ends. The coffee is quite dull and served in cardboard cups and the atmoshere is non-existent. The ladies in the shop appeartoo busy to smile and welcome customers except for the two young ladiescwho serve on the till, they are lovely. There was a mix up with our order which we were promptly given another bill for (which we paid because we are very nice people)but then were made to feel quite unwelcome. So, needless to say that we will not be going back to this cafe and will be frequenting the other cafes on the plaza that may not be as cool but are real and friendly...

As a baker myself this is a must go to shop cafe) in the centre of San Juan. Great selection of excellent breads, croissants and patisserie. Now the building work of th adjacent Plaza has finished the outlook and aspect of the shop is much improved and I hope has improved their business. Would recommend this bakery shop for its wares and friendly service to everyone

This new establishment was opened very recently and is located at the plaza of playa san juan. A bit away of the tourist area but a quiet area to have a coffee and a snack. The choice on the menu is limited but what you receive is good. The owners also have a good bakery a bit further away.
