This place used to be great. Post-pandemic, they started putting the gelato in plastic containers. Whatever prep is involved there, it leaves the gelato completely freezer-burnt. I've gone back a few times, some days are better than others, but freezer-burn is always a problem. This last time I went was the last straw. Worst freezer-burn I've tasted so far. Maybe the plastic containers were a necessity during the pandemic, but we're far out enough where this is inexcusable. Now it's clearly out of laziness or a cost-saving measure. It's a shame, because the gelato used to be great. And you can kind of taste the quality to an extent, but the texture is completely ruined by this new practice....

This charming Sicilian bakery offers a delightful selection of delicious treats, with the cookies being truly exceptional. The authenticity is evident; you can tell they use the finest ingredients, and the sweet Italian gentleman who is often there to serve is a lovely touch. We frequently stop by for a small indulgence or to grab goodies for our gatherings.
I had a fantastic decaf cappuccino here! The panini was amazing, and the arancini were simply unforgettable! The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the waitress was delightful. I’m so grateful to my daughter for introducing me to this little slice of Sicily right in our neighborhood.

Prepacked gelato for 7$?? Are you serious?And I would understand that price if it is extraordinary and phenomenal BUT it wasn’t at all.If you have ever tried Italian gelato -don’t go there to get disappointed about that
use to be good, now it’s horrible the owners need to finally retire. the place was filthy dirty and the gelato is now pre made in cups and the quality is horrible: icey and old. close this place your done.
The most amazing gelato. The nostalgia about being in the Bronx when we were kids made it that much better. Nothing else like it!
