I've visited Panera many times and have always enjoyed the food and service. In the past, we had some unpleasant encounters with a former manager who embarrassed us for carrying our luggage, but thankfully, that manager is no longer there. The current managers have been exceptionally kind, even treating us to breakfast a few times. Sadly, some challenges persist due to a few individuals, including some homeless people who leave the bathrooms untidy, loiter inside, make noise, and seldom buy anything. Having experienced homelessness ourselves, we understand, but we always made sure to respect businesses and never caused problems. Hats off to Panera and their fantastic staff!
I've frequently had issues at this location when I place multiple orders. During my latest visit, I was missing a sandwich and a basil and tomato side that I had paid extra for. Instead, I received an extra bag of chips. I tried reaching out to both DoorDash and the cafe for help, but neither responded to my request, leaving me without my sandwich and side. Given that I work in an environment where it's difficult to step away for lunch, I was really disappointed not to have a complete meal today.
The sandwiches and pastries are good. Good social distancing everyone was wearing masks. It's very quiet inside. There is some outside dining, but it's not crowded. I felt safe going inside to pick up my order. They have tablets set up so you can order inside without talking to anyone, and there's also online ordering. They have hand sanitizers.
I didn’t receive the honey walnut cream cheese I paid for. I was supposed to get a tub of plain cream cheese and a tub of honey walnut cream cheese, but they only gave me one. This isn’t enough cream cheese for the office. I ordered it as a treat for Lunar New Year, and it’s disappointing to be shorted. It even states it on the receipt!

Came in w/ no appetite. I only have had the salads I needed to eat more for dinner. I got a sweet young lady to give ideas, Mariah . She knows the menu gives great advice. I got the chipotle chicken avocado sandwich and cup of broccoli cheddar soup. It was all delicious. I'll come back for it again.
Good spot for cyber cafe. Lots of power outlets. AC was cold. Outside seating available if so desired with umbrella covering. Plenty of parking. Food is standard fare. My fork did come with extra dried food on it but it can happen anywhere. Something everyone should be aware every time at a diner.
The Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich was delicious, as it always is, and the kitchen sink cookie was a standout treat. It had a slightly salty taste at times, but you can easily scrape off the excess salt.
The French onion soup was excellent, but the macaroni and cheese tasted like it had been scraped from the bottom of the pot. I usually enjoy it, but today it was unpleasant.

I love the Panera by my house in Walnut! Tried their new turkey, white cheddar, coleslaw with Apple sandwich! The best ever on their menu!!!
The prices are really excessive. The drink was the highlight of my experience. I've had much better chicken sandwiches for half the cost.
