I arrived quite late, about an hour before closing time. To be honest, this was either my first experience at Panera or it's been so long that I've forgotten. I ordered the steak and white cheddar sandwich along with a Cobb salad and green goddess dressing. I was impressed! The sandwich was tender, but that horse sauce was something else. It wasn't spicy at all, yet somehow left a lingering burn. Next time, I’ll definitely try a different sauce. The Cobb salad was fantastic too; I loved every bit of it, especially the pickled onions. We usually dine at this Panera Bread about once a month and have never had any problems before. This time, we ordered the same "Pick Two" combo as last time—same sandwiches, salad, and soup. However, our bill came to $46, whereas it was only $23 previously. I understand inflation, but this felt excessive. When I asked the cashier about it, she was evasive and insisted that since the sandwich had a certain price, we had to pay full price for everything. The menu price for the "Pick Two" with that sandwich was nowhere near what she charged. It felt like she was trying to provoke a reaction, so we decided to leave. I visit the Panera on Portion Road every day and have been coming for nearly two years, with about the last four months visiting daily. Lucas is always incredibly helpful and friendly—he’s not just an employee, but a genuinely kind person. I really appreciate his positive attitude and willingness to assist. The kitchen staff work quickly, and the store is always exceptionally clean. The whole team consistently appears cheerful and happy to be there. As someone who works in a similar setting, I truly value and appreciate that atmosphere.

I've generally enjoyed ordering from here, but this time was quite disappointing. The staff was very rude, and there seemed to be a language barrier at the pickup counter. They forgot part of my order, and when I tried to bring it to their attention, they ignored me at first and then didn't believe me. My drinks were also missing. The employee slammed the cups down and walked away. They still forgot my scones, but I just ended up getting a refund. Overall, it was not a good experience.
I ordered the half turkey and cheese sandwich along with a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup at the restaurant. The "pick two" option was just the right amount of food to leave me feeling satisfied. Everything was fresh and delicious. I left the restaurant feeling very happy with my meal.
Fantastic service, delicious food, and everything was spotless. The staff was amazing, and the manager was clearly attentive to everything. If I lived nearby, this would definitely be my go-to spot!
