Panini Junction

Actually that’s not quite fair — this place has always sold paninis, I imagine — but it has recently received a makeover that has seen various rickety chairs replaced with smart metal-and-glass garden furniture and wooden benches. It remains good for toasted bacon sandwiches — but beverages now come with cookies and, for some unexplained reason, you now have to unwrap the teabag and infuse yourself. Not my idea of class — but the atmosphere remains relaxed and amiable.

Treated ourselves to a couple of cheese cakes to cheer ourselves up on this really difficult lockdown. Ordered the chocolate orange and baileys, the chocolate orange was to die for and the baileys blew us away.

Usually call ahead to order and collect but last 4 times they’ve not answered the phone and there’s never anyone in there when you drive past? Shame as great place!

Amazing bfast 10/10 and omelette amazball thank u to Harley and Lisa the staff r friendly and welcoming and Michelle is a character nice family run business
