What a great surprise it was to find this casual spot in the hills outside Linz. It's a great stop if you're out hiking/cycling.The weather was beautiful on the day we were there, so all the tables outside were taken, but the interior is like a huge barn with very high ceilings, so it's light and airy. The decor is typically Austrian and the atmosphere very relaxed.We had soup to start and then variations of the spätzle (fresh, handmade egg noodles - Austrian speciality). The spätzle cost €5,50 per portion and came with a side salad.Also on offer were a selection of spritzers e.g. Raspberry, classic...(I forget :))

Herrliches Restaurant an sonnigem Berghang! Sehr freundliche Bedienung, gutes Essen. Für Startpunkt für Radtouren und Wanderungen in der Umgebung. Tolle Aussicht!
