We've enjoyed a few lunches at Panzarotti on our travels to Forfar and it never disappoints. It's a lovely wee cafe/restaurant but they have adapted the front to have little heated huts so you can eat outside whatever the weather and also bring your dog! It's charming that each are named after a different area of Italy. We enjoyed a tasty pizza and fries, and a mushroom Panzarotti with delicious vegetable soup. All served promptly. The value for lunch was great, especially given prices across the board are going up. Staff are always pleasant and friendly. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!! We look forward to returning soon.
Not a visit but a very frustrating experience trying to order a food delivery. Phoned 3 times (5 minutes apart) and each time got ‘the person you are calling is on the phone please leave a message after the tone. No point in leaving message. I then went on their website to order and it came up with ‘Scoffables’. Had difficulty registering/log in with this outfit and gave up. On Panzerotti’s website it now says ‘we are closed’ That seems to be the case as I passed the location yesterday and it was indeed Closed on a Saturday lunchtime.
Quite pricey for what it is. The lasagna was overly meaty, not to my taste. Bakery was nice but wish the items were labelled as was unsure what everything was and the young waitress wasn't very sure either. Service was a bit slow even tho the place was quite quiet. Place looked a bit dated, seats were all scrapped looked like a cat had used them as a scratching post. Overall underwhelming.
We had been meaning to visit here for ages and boy were we glad that we did! We had the famous Panzerotti which came with fries and 2 soft drinks. We couldn’t leave of course without taking home some of the canolis too. Everything was perfect. From the friendly, knowledgable waitress to the delicious food and reasonable price. We definitely plan to return again and would highly recommend.

We had coffee and lovely wee Italian cakes on our first visit. We were so impressed by the staff and food that we returned the following evening for a meal. The frittelle were beautiful, the Gnocchi al Salmone and meatball pizza delicious. I wish we stayed in Forfar because we would certainly visit more often.
We had a fantastic mid week family dinner here, the waitress was precise and polite. We have several allergies as a family and this was easily accommodated. There was even vegan prosecco by the glass : I will recommend to everyone.
I am now a weekly visitor. panzerotti offers great value food and friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere with a log burning fire and outdoor sheds to expand capacity which is limited.
We've not eaten in but had a few takeaways in the car during the Covid lockdowns. All the food was good, hot, tasty and filling. It's not cheap, but the quality is excellent.
