They no longer accommodate their cash-only customers, which is frustrating. I had to wait 45 minutes just to pick up my order, and during that time, they lost power while waiting for someone higher up to help. My food ended up stuck in the oven. All I suggested was that they should notify customers who were waiting—there were over ten orders, including mine—so we wouldn't have to make the trip only to be let down. The girl I spoke to said the phones were down. I completely understand that, especially since my food was stuck, but I asked if they didn't have a cell phone to use. What has happened to Papa Gino's? The restaurant is in dire need of repairs and updates. It shows significant wear from years of neglect. Papa Gino's used to represent pride, quality, and cleanliness, but now it seems very different. I recently visited the location on the East Providence/Seekonk line, and the state of the bathroom was shocking. The faucet was rusted, and there was corrosion around the sink. The floor was dirty, and a large roll of toilet paper was just sitting on the handrail instead of being in the holder. This doesn't feel like the Papa Gino's I remember.
This Papa Gino's location is definitely one of the best. The food is always served hot, and it never sticks around for long. The pizza is consistently flavorful and delicious. Additionally, the staff is always friendly and respectful. This place has secured my weekend orders!
