Charleston SC. The best Italian sub!!!Enjoy Subs and Pasta from here since they opened. 40 years ago? When we live in SC, it's a 'must stop' when we're in town. My son spent the weekend enjoying Ohio Football.... Buckeyes and Browns games... and stopped at Papa Joes.... Thanks to the ladies my Italian sub packed with dressing on the side. Y'al stylethe best even 700 miles travel!
It was a great place back at its prime, over the years steady decline and space deterioration. I decided to try Mr. Hero"s in the area and what a difference versus Papa's... never disappointed with Mr. Hero, the staff was friendly, the store had clean delicious food...hot and fresh...Mr. Hero fan for life...
I ordered two Hot Buttered Steak Deluxes last night. The bun was the only positive part. They were bland and had no flavor whatsoever. I ate 3/4 of one and threw the other 1/4 away. The other I might toss tomorrow. Unless I have no choice but to take it for lunch tomorrow. Probably won’t be back

Unfortunately, this business (E. 200th Street location) is closed. It has been closed for several months. They had the best subs and onion rings in Cleveland. Patronized this store for many, many years. Sad to see it come to this.
