I have been a customer at Papa Johns Dagenham for years, so much so, that they even recognise me and my partner everytime we go in there. On the 24 09 2016 I called and placed an order for the same order I make every week. This costs me exactly £30.75. When the food arrived (20 minutes late) I was charged £32.75. I explained that can 't be right, and asked where the other £2 had come from. The delievery driver said that he did not know, and that he would call his manager. I was passed the phone so I could explain the situation to the manager, and I was told that the amount I was being charged was right and that I probably had an old menu. I normally order from this store around once a week. A few weeks ago I ordered my usual pizza deal with sides spending around £33. I always order garlic and herb dip, call me petty but for me I only eat my pizza with these dips (this is even the case when I cook pizza at home, for me it’s the only way to eat pizza! . In the past my dips have been left out so now my delivery note states clearly “please ensure all my dips are present before delivering”. There's not much to be explained: our order is often delivered incorrectly, always late, and when a complaint is made, the response we've received has been complete and utter disinterest. In the past two months we've ordered from Papa John's on at least four occasions and have not once had a positive experience. They won't even throw in an extra sauce to make up for their mistakes. It's honestly just a bit awful. You'll never get a response if you submit an online complaint and if you call up, expect the manager to blame you for the issue. Simply do not order anything from them if you expect anything but sub par service.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I placed an order and an hour and 10 minutes later, I called the restaurant, only to be told it would be an additional 15 to 20 minutes. After waiting for an extra 30 minutes, I was then told it would be another 25 minutes. Despite living just 5 minutes away, the poor customer service, bad attitude, and lack of communication made me extremely late for work and I still haven't received my food.
I had pre-ordered a pizza from Papa John's in Dagenham for delivery at 5pm. However, it arrived at 4:15pm, 45 minutes early. The pizza was also cold when I opened the box. Despite checking their complaints procedure, I found out that they have a strict no refund policy. I will not be ordering from this company again and would advise others to avoid it as well.
Our last order was wrong so I rang straight away and was told to keep it and next time we order let them know I rang today 6/12/16 and they said sorry it's not been noted so wot would of cost them the garlic bread free what we never got last times some poor ladies pizza they have lost all my family's customer
